Textured Sterling Silver Stud Earrings
These textured silver studs originate from the direct casting of real wood chips, preserving the surface and form of the original material in metal.
Each pair begins with fragments produced through the act of whittling; a slow, hand-led process rooted in making and memory. These wood chips are then cast into solid sterling silver, capturing their irregular edges, grain, and subtle variations in texture.
No two pairs are ever the same. The form of each stud is determined by the original wood chip, making every piece a unique translation of a fleeting material into something permanent.
Small in scale but rich in detail, these earrings hold a quiet connection to process and place; where the immediacy of working with wood meets the permanence of silver.
