First-Place medals for the inaugural 2022 Scotland Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge on 18-19 October 2022, at Abertay University. Designed & made in The Glasgow School of Art, with the guidance and assistance of the Silversmithing and Jewellery Technical Department. Presented to the winners, Cyber Saints of University of St Andrews.

‘A vision brought to life by Dr Robert Dewar of Dewar Cyber Consulting Ltd. and the Cyber Statecraft Initiative at the Atlantic Council, this challenge presented a unique opportunity for students of universities & colleges to come up with a recommended course of action in the event of a Cyber Crisis and its implications affecting nations in a fictional scenario.’

The medals, inspired by the Cyber Challenge’s new connection to Scotland, were 3D printed directly in wax, before being cast in bronze and plated in 24kt gold.
