By placing an order with Scott Smith Design, you are accepting the Terms & Conditions listed on this page. Scott reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at anytime.
Each item is made by Scott in his studio. Some designs are in stock and others are made to order. Your order should be ready for posting within four working days of ordering, however Scott reserves the right to change this arrangement, and will endeavour to get in touch straight away if there are any delays with your order.
Prices & Payment.
The price on the website at the time of purchasing is to be paid before the item is dispatched. By placing an order, the customer is recognising any postage costs that will incur. All prices displayed are in GBP and are inclusive of VAT. Orders placed via the website go through a third party to ensure data protection. If you would like to order and pay via cheque or over the phone, contact - email@example.com.
Scott aims for Made to Order pieces & Commissions to be posted between 4-6 weeks after payment/deposit is received. If you are looking to alter the length of a chain, this would be considered a commission, so contact Scott directly rather than ordering via the website. Scott is more than happy to talk through any commission ideas that you may have, please contact - firstname.lastname@example.org. After a design is agreed upon, a 50% deposit is required for all commissions in order for the making process to start and then the balance will be paid upon finishing the making, before the client receives the piece. If you decide to not follow the commission through, then the 50% deposit will be non-refundable. Bespoke commissions or personalised items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged unless they contain a manufacturing fault. Please email directly if you have any concerns.
Scott aims to post orders within four working days (unless the product description states the design is made to order). UK Orders are sent using Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery. International orders will be send by International Tracked & Signed, Customers are responsible for import duties, sales taxes or other import costs. Scott Smith Design is not liable for any packages lost in transit, nor can Scott Smith Design be held responsible for any delays caused by the postal service or customs checks.
Items listed on the website should be in stock to dispatch unless the product description states the design
is made to order. Scott aims to post your order within four working days. If a design is not in stock or if there
is an unexpected delay in dispatch, Scott will be in touch with you immediately. If you require and order by a
specific time, contact via email before ordering on the website.
Cancelations can only be done up to 24 hours after purchasing, email - email@example.com if you
are in this situation.
If you are not happy with your order, you can return the item within 7 working days of receiving it. After this
period, returns will not be accepted. Any initial postage costs will not be refunded and the return order is at
the cost of the customer. The item must be in their original packaging and the item must be in the condition
it was received in, unworn, unused and undamaged. Returns are at the risk of the customer, if the item is not
received, the refund cannot be processed. Commissioned items are non-returnable.
