At Goldsmiths’ Fair in 2024, I handed over an exciting commission for a brooch inspired by my interpretation of St Catherine of Alexandria’s Wheel.

I used cast wood chips to illustrate the splintering wheel and features my abstract wood chip motif in the centre. The missing spokes show the wheel mid-splinter, a design choice by the incredible generous client.

During the Fair, I attending the clients 80th Birthday Meal where he gave the brooch to his friend, Katherine, a long standing tradition that celebrates his support for jewellers & makers in the industry. I am very grateful for this commission and look forward to working on more exciting projects soon!
