Etched Sterling Silver Dish

Etched Sterling Silver Dish

£415.00Price

A shallow silver dish defined by surface, gesture, and mark.

Hand-formed in sterling silver, the dish is worked through an etching process that cuts directly into the surface, creating a drawn, linear texture. The marks are deliberate and varied, building a composition that sits somewhere between pattern and landscape.

Unlike applied decoration, the etched lines become part of the material itself; holding shadow, catching light, and revealing depth through use. The surface shifts depending on how it is viewed, offering a quiet, changing presence.

The form is simple and contained, allowing the surface to take precedence. It may be used to hold small objects or left empty, functioning as a standalone piece.

Rooted in both traditional silversmithing and a contemporary approach to mark-making, the dish reflects an interest in material, process, and the traces left by hand.

Each piece is individually made, with variations in line, texture, and form.
