Sterling Silver Pill Box

Sterling Silver Pill Box

£335.00Price

A small, intimate object designed to be held, opened, and carried.

This sterling silver pill box is hand-formed and finished at the bench, its surface worked to create a subtle, tactile quality that responds to touch. Compact in scale, it sits naturally in the palm; an object defined as much by handling as by appearance.

Historically, boxes of this kind have held small, personal items from medicines to keepsakes, functioning as private containers carried close to the body. This piece continues that lineage, offering a quiet, contemporary interpretation of a deeply personal object.

The hinged form opens to reveal a contained interior space, protected and concealed. The action of opening and closing becomes part of its use; a repeated, deliberate gesture.

The surface carries the marks of making, catching light unevenly and revealing slight variations that speak to its handmade origin. Over time, the object develops its own character through handling and wear.

Each piece is individually made, with variations in surface and form that reflect the process.
